My work concentrates around the illusions of reality and what we see may not necessary be what is there, I have looked in to religious symbols and beliefs. My work is inspired by the surrealist movement like artists such as Rene Magritte.

Sculptural fashion inspired contemporary paintings /
This work is a combination of sculptural fashion, photography and fine Art. The project started from the everyday materials used in an unorthodox way to create designs (garments), that later inspired the paintings that then followed my work with the fashion (photography) shoot I organised.

My work is inspired by images beyond the range of human vision. The only way that I have found to explore these images, is with the use of Photography and film. I then use digital imaging and paint to draw out whatever provokes the imagination. I do not believe that we are alone in the universe. Surly all of the amazing visual experienced in this universe could not have been created for our eyes only. Nor do I believe in the term infinity. We just will never reach a finite point in our existence.

The theme of my work is decay, and the process in which things pass through whilst in a period of decay.
I chose to work with candles because in my opinion they were an excellent way to expose the process of decay through the eventual burning out of a living element, the flame.
I wanted to create symbols of life and death out of candles, light all the candles and see if the end product of decayed matter would resemble its original shape after the decaying process has taken place.
